It’s been a great year of making improvements.  My mother started in January, and lost 32 pounds, and has gone down 2 size.  I started in October, and I don’t actually weigh myself, but I’ve gone down a size, AND I’m back to fitting into my clothes from 2007.  My dad started recently, and he’s already a lot more energetic than he used to be.

To be perfectly honest, in my head, I’m still obese.  lol.  I think I’ll always think of myself as that really really really fat girl that I used to be.  Pictures like these actually tend to surprise me.  It’s a great moment when you realize that your hard work is paying off and you’re becoming healthier than you’ve ever been.

Exercise.  It’s an amazing thing!

Honestly, this kid pouts in all our photos, usually because he’s stunned by the flash on my dSLR.  Or, you know, I bet you he thinks he’s Derek Zoolander.  Cute kid, he melts my heart. 

He’s actually very fussy, or “soplado” in Tagalog terms.  But he warms up after about 20 minutes, and soon he kept coming to me.  I took him to the mirror, and he smiles when he sees himself (like most babies do), but he’s the cutest thing ever!

Remember, Ethan, that Ninang loves you very very very much, and I’m always going to be here.

You make me realize that toddlers aren’t so bad to have around.  lol.  Thanks for liking me even more this time around.

It’s no wonder that people have no problem finding my house on this block.  lol.  Yes, we decorate early for Christmas…

It’s kind of hard to get into the festive mood though, when there’s no snow on the ground.  :(  I hope it comes soon!!  I can’t have a snow-less winter…what is this, California?  Geez.

I love how bright my house is.  It looks it comes out of some cheesy Christmas comedy film.  The only house up and sparkling every evening in full force…no snow on the ground, Christmas a month away, and no other decorations in its immediate 1-block radius.  lol.
